About

We are firm believers that children learn most effectively while they are having fun. We are outside of the box thinkers that are always looking for creative ways to teach our two daughters. We wanted to start our store so others could find fun materials that help reinforce critical thinking, math, reading, social interacting, fine and gross motor skills and much more.

As you look at our website you'll find numerous things that are meant for individuals that have disabilities as well as "typical" children. The reason for this is that Jessica started her career as a public speaker educating individuals on ADD back in 1998. After years of working in early childhood education she got her first experience working with Autistic children in the Anoka Hennepin (MN) school district in 2002. During her time there she was trained to become an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist. Jessica quickly learned that she enjoyed working with children with this challenge and started working with families privately over the summer of 2002 and has continued to help families in a variety of capacities. If you are interested in learning more about her services please look at our "services page."

Over the last several years of working with children with special needs we've found that there was no where that catered to their unique needs. As a result we wanted to ensure that they have a place to go to find products that they need as well.

This is why A Puzzled World opens your child's eyes towards education and imagination regardless of their ability or disability.

Thanks

Jessica and Jeff Raschka
